and Secretarial Duties I and has 100/120 w.p.m. shorthand
or Certificate in Basic Computer Knowledge from a recognized
institution.

(i) To type all general correspondence and non-confidential
matters;
(ii) To type letters, minutes, notes, bulletins, circulars, certificates,
charts and stencils;

Specifications- CRS;
(ii) To perform systems analysis and design;
(iii) To implement software systems (Write and document code);
(iv) To perform systems testing (Software validation & verification)

Secondary School Leaving Certificate with pass in Kiswahili
and English plus Trade Test II (or equivalent) in Motor Vehicle
Maintenance/Mechanics and a valid Driving License in the relevant
class with at least three years continuous driving experience. Must
have a certificate from a recognised Driving School.


IT Systems Security Specialists
(i) To ensure software patches are implemented timely;
(ii) To install, configure, and update antivirus software;
(iii) To alert users on various security risks, threats and
vulnerabilities;
(iv) To perform systems audit on regular basis; and
(v) To implement security mechanisms and controls.

Holder of a Bachelor Degree in Physical Education and Sports with
relevant working experience of at least three years.

(b) Duties and Responsibilities


(i) To assist the Dean of students in Students counselling and
guidance in ones respective Hall of Residence;
(ii) To co-ordinate academic advice for students in his/her
respective Hall of Residence in collaboration with
(iii) To co-ordinate students cultural, recreational and sports
activities in his/her Hall of Residence;
(iv) To serve as an advisor to students government at the Hall of
Residence level and attend meetings of the Health Committee
and the Hall Assembly;
(v) To issue permits to students who may experience emergencies
that need absences from the Campus for some days;
(vi) To take care of students welfare and ensures that the sick are
urgently treated and taken care of satisfactorily; and
