Every year people from health and the local council
collect information about the needs of the people
who live in the area.
This information is used to plan for the services that
people need.

What are these sessions about?

The Mental Health and Learning
Disabilities Partnership Board has
asked Inclusion North to run two
sessions to collect information about
what is important to people with a
learning disability and their family
member/carers living in York.

Come along
You can share your experience and
what you think is important for people
with a learning disability living in York.

Things to think about

We would like to know your thoughts
and what you think about things like:

Travelling in York and accessibility

getting in to shops and other places
Leisure activities and keeping
healthy
Good information and living in York if
you have a disability
Keeping safe and Hate Crime
Housing and short breaks
Growing old and planning for the
future
Getting a job or learning new skills
and young people going in to adult
services
People being placed in services out
of their area

Partnership Board would like to know
and collect all of the information
together.

What will happen next?

Inclusion North will collect all of the
information from the sessions to give
feedback to the Partnership Board so
that plans can be made for the local
area.
You will also be sent this information.

How do I book a place?

There are 2 dates so that everyone can
have a chance to give their feedback.
You will only need to book on one
session.
Session 1 is on Monday 14th September
at 1.00pm until 3.00pm
Tang Hall Community Centre,
Fifth Avenue

You can come along earlier for this
session to meet with people from the
Partnership Board. They will be at Tang
Hall from 12.00pm

Session 2 is on Monday 28th September

at 11.00am until 1.00pm
