Letter Writing Exercise: (Invitation Letter)
You are General Manager Bashundhara Shopping Arcade located at 365,
Road 4, Bashundhara City, Dhaka.
Please draft a letter of invitation for Mr Saiful Ahmed and his spouse Mrs
Afsana Ahmed. Mr Ahmed is Managing Director, Computer Source Limited,
House 112, Road 52, Gulshan 2, Dhaka. The Ahmeds are regular visitors
at the Bashundhara Shopping Arcade.
The invitation is at the opening ceremony of the `Gloria Jeans Coffee
Corner at the Arcade. The ceremony will start at 11 oclock in the
morning on 15 July 2015. The local Member of Parliament, Mr Ashraf-uddowla Majumdar will grace the occasion as Chief Guest and will declare
the coffee corner open. About 500 invited guests that include a few
celebrities have been invited to attend the program.
A gift voucher of Tk 5000/- will also be sent as enclosure with this
invitation letter for Mrs Afsana Ahmed to make purchase from any shop at
the Arcade, after the opening ceremony.
The program is expected to continue for 2 hours but no lunch will be
served at the venue.
Requirement: Invitation to Mr Ahmed will be in a letter form and for Mrs
Ahmed it will be on an invitation card.
You may assume all information necessary (which is not mentioned here)
to draft a proper letter and the card.
