Specimens of 1.4mm diameter and 305mm length were tested at strain rates of 0.0012/sec and 0.06/sec after being heated for either 30 or 20 minutes. Tests were carried out at 23°C, 0°C, -23°C and -50°C using different numbers of specimens as outlined in a provided table.

    Two batches of specimen were test- 1st batch: 30 minutes heating, 2nd batch: 20
