Project Description:
The Chocolate Factory learning unit provides certificated courses in music business and sound engineering
especially targeted at young people from immigrant communities. The courses include artist management, live
performance and touring, music marketing, composition and production techniques. They are free of charge for
young people who are unemployed.
Lessons to be Learned:
The courses offer opportunities and special tools for the members of immigrant communities to develop their
skills. The concept developed at the Chocolate Factory has been adopted by other similar initiatives in Italy (e.g.
Mulab social enterprise in Rome).
