Interactive Notebook Set Up Instructions
Step 1:

Outside Cover of INB

Use a black permanent marker (Sharpie) clearly write:
*Your FIRST and LAST name
*Math 2015-2016
*Science 2015-2016
*Your Class & Number (B1 or B2)

Step 2:

First Left Side Page (inside cover)

Trim and Attach--Thinking Maps Guidelines

Step 3:

First Right Side Page--INB's Title Page; Page 1

Rewrite what you wrote on the INB outside cover
Write the list of Reminders from middle button-hole down (see below)
Number this as Page 1 in bottom right side

Step 4:

Page 2
*Trim and Attach "Left Side-OUTPUT Right Side-INPUT" handout you
were given

Step 5:

Page 3
*Trim and Attach "Interactive Notebook Grading Rubric" handout you
were given
Go over these pages with your parent(s)/guardian(s), then you and your
parents/guardians SIGN somewhere on the Rubric page.

REMINDERS for Page 1

REMINDERS!!!
* Be sure your pages are in your notebook correctly!
*When in doubt, use Mrs. Beach's INB to double check and use as a guide.
*I must have my INB with me every day, and I must keep up with all assignments & notes.
*If I am absent, it is my responsibility to get my INB up-to-date.
*I need to use glue or tape to adhere items in my INB. I should avoid using staples when possible.
* My INB must match the "Master Copy" therefore I must not use extra pages or move ahead.
*I must write legibly; use color (pens, markers, colored pencils, & highlighters) meaninfully to organize
my notes and thoughts.
*Be sure your parents/guardians sign pages 2 and 3

*MAKE SURE YOU HAVE YOUR INTERACTIVE NOTEBOOK AND ALL OTHER CLASS MATERIALS
WITH YOU EVERYDAY!!
