Labeling

Proper labeling helps our staff to expedite all class procedures and saves parents the replacement cost for misplaced items.

Tammy's Academy of Dance

Our goal is to provide an avenue for students of all ages and various levels of skill to study performing arts in a fun
and exciting environment, while obtaining the knowledge of technical training which allows students to reach their
goals individually.

Performance

An annual recital is held each spring for all students to perform. Performance is an extension of each students
training. When weather permits, dancers perform in December at the Holiday Light Festival at the Montgomery
Zoo. Additional performance opportunities are available for upper level students through our performance
company, the Capitol City Dance Alliance. Auditions are held in April.

Performance Costumes

Costumes are ordered November 1st. Please turn in your order form to the studio by October 15th in order to
process it by the 1st. Costume sizing forms and costs are available at studio. There is a $25 processing fee for late
orders. Please note that when an order is late, the stock could become sold out and unavailable at any cost.

Dress Code & Dancewear

Dance Bags

Studio Classes: Small, one compartment bag with shoulder strap, large enough to hold shoes only. No backpacks
unless teen age.
On-premise Classes: Bag should be large enough to accommodate street clothes and shoes.

* CCDA - Capitol City Dance Alliance Performance Company is designed for upper level dancers
proficient in Ballet, Jazz and Tap dancing. A minimum of 3.5 hours per week is required. CCDA dancers
participate in upper level classes, workshops, performances including competitive dance, as well as
community performance.
