The Fundamentals of Faith, Part Two
Faith is obeying God's Law, Torah. Scriptures:
Exodus 20:1-17, Deuteronomy 5:1-21, 29, Ecclesiastes 12:13, Matthew 5:17-18,
Matthew 19:16-19, John 15:10, Acts 5:32, Romans 2:13, Romans 3:31, 1 John
2:3-4, 1 John 5:2-3
One must allow God to destroy their belief system. Allow God to pour on gasoline
and torch it, or fix on dynamite and demolition it. Scriptures:
Psalm 51:16-17, Psalm 127:1-2, Isaiah 55:6-9, Joel 2:12-14, Matthew 7:24-27,
Matthew 23:11-12, 1 Peter 5:5-7 (The word care in 1 Peter 5:7 can be translated
distractions, which shows a clearer meaning)
Overcome three things that resist faith:
1) I don't want to hear it! Scriptures:
Psalm 135:15-18, Isaiah 30:8-9, Isaiah 65:12, Jeremiah 13:10-11, Jeremiah 25:4-7,
Matthew 13:14-15, 2 Timothy 4:3-4
2) I don't want to read it! Scriptures:
Isaiah 5:21, 24, Isaiah 6:9-11, Isaiah 30:10-11, John 9:41, 2 Corinthians 4:3-4,
James 1:22-24
3) I don't want to do it! Scriptures:
Nehemiah 9:16-17, Jeremiah 4:22 (Sottish= silly, foolish), Matthew 13:13-15,

Luke 6:46-49, 2 Timothy 3:7-8, 2 Timothy 4:3-4, James 1:22-24, James 4:17
--Faith is living in the future even though it has not happened yet. Scriptures:
Habakkuk 2:1-4, Hebrews 11:1, 6
