WOA Bulletin for 08/24-28/2015

Welcome to Temporary WOA

A big thank you to students and staff who are
using the new temporary WOA. The school
district is constructing a new two story building
where the old WOA was located. This two story
building will be the new WOA. Construction is
scheduled to begin around October 2015. No
completion date has been given yet.

WOA Recycling News

Recycling is an important part of the WOA
school culture.
The recycling money is used to finance
special events at WOA.
Please place plastic and cans in the recycle
container by the WOA bathroom.

Do You Need ...

Science, Health or Elective Credits?
Madeline Prospero, Project Success
Coordinator, is coming to WOA in September
with a series of health related presentations for
WOA students. Attendance will earn you
credits. More information coming soon.

WOA News
If you drive a car to school, please pick up
your parking permit from Ms. James at the
office.
Just a reminder, make sure you dress
appropriately for school. No bellies or
breasts should be exposed. Please contact
Ms. Nystrom if you have any questions.

Exciting Programs Starting Soon

Windsor Rotary will, again, sponsor the
Career Explorer Program for WOA students.
Green Dog Rescue will be partnering with
WOA with a new program for students to
learn more about dog care and training plus
volunteer opportunities.
FARMS Leadership Program returns also.
