1. Niton
A large waving cold front will affect southern Fitzroy and Biscay during the period. Anticyclone 1017 will build by
midday Friday in Fitzroy but then decline again by Saturday. Large anticyclone 1026 will become established in mid-
Atlantic by midday Saturday and push eastwards into Fitzroy during Sunday declining slightly 1023. Shallow low 1011
may form on waving cold front across Northern France Saturday evening moving into the southern North Sea by
midday Sunday with little change. Pressure will remain low across Iberia throughout. Although winds start generally
light some strong southwesterly winds will affect parts of Sole, Shannon and Fastnet during Friday for a time. Winds
then become variable and mostly light and end up generally westerly in the north and northerly in southern parts
during Sunday, perhaps becoming strong at times around the northwestern coast of Spain. Visibility will be generally
good
