    The UVa Drama Department will hold auditions on January 17th and 18th for their spring 2015 musical production of Wonderful Town. Auditions will include a dance audition on the 17th from 10AM-5PM and callbacks on the 18th from 1-6PM. Those auditioning should prepare a 32 bar song from a 1940s-1950s musical and a 1-2 minute contemporary comic monologue that must be memorized. Undergraduates cast in the musical will be required to enroll in a 1-3 credit Special Topics course for the spring 2015 semester.

    Please prepare:
    a 32 bar song, preferably from a show from the
    1940's or 1950's
    a one to two minute contemporary comic
    monologue.
    Note: Monologues MUST be within this time limit.
    Note: Monologues must be off-book and well
    rehearsed.
    Undergraduates cast in Wonderful Town will be
    required to register for a Special Topics course, for 1-3
    credits, for Spring 2015:
