APPEAL PROCEDURE

1. Request for a certified bluebook, highest


bluebook and questionnaire from your SAC rep.
PROVIDE him/her with your information:
Name
Year and Section
Subject Appealed
Teacher
Grade breakdown
o Recitation
o Midterms
o Finals
o Final grade
2. PAY Fifty Pesos (P50) per subject to your
SAC rep.
3. Put the following requirements in a LONG
BROWN ENVELOPE:
a. 2 COPIES of the Appeal letter
o Do not forget to SIGN your
letter!
b. 2 COPIES of the Appeal form
o Print this in LONG BOND
PAPER
o Do not forget to SIGN your form!
c. CERTIFIED Grade Breakdown
o You can get this from your SAC
rep
d. CERTIFIED Bluebook
o With highest bluebook if needed
e. CERTIFIED Questionnaire
f. Authorization SIGNED by the owner of
the highest bluebook
o Only if you will be using the
highest bluebook
o In case the person is physically
unavailable to sign the form, ask
permission from this person if
the SAC rep can sign for
him/her
NOTE: STAPLE each document individually.
However, please use a PAPER CLIP to compile
all documents.

4. Use a one whole short bond paper for the


LABEL, paste it PROPERLY on the center of
the envelope, and submit it to your SACREP
within the DEADLINE.
At the upper LEFT hand corner of the
paper:
Font: VERDANA 14
Details:
o Name
o Student Number
o Year and Section
o Subject
o Professor
o Semester, School Year
o Ground for Appeal

At the MIDDLE of the paper, put the


following details:
o Ateneo Law School Appeals
font size 26, Century
Gothic
o Standards Committee
font size 36, Century
Gothic

5. In case you are appealing on BOTH grounds


for the same subject: (i.e. Manifest oversight
AND Mathematical Error), please observe the
following rules:
a. Use ONE ENVELOPE for manifest
oversight and mathematical error.
b. For the APPEAL FORM, check the
boxes for both manifest oversight and
mathematical error
*Note that the appeal letter should reflect the
grade asked for should both the appeal based
on manifest oversight and mathematical error be
granted.
FAILURE TO COMPLETE ANY OF THESE
REQUIREMENTS MAY LEAD TO THE DENIAL
OF YOUR APPEAL.
