About Ms.

Yasmine:

Welcome to our Blog! My name is Yasmine Abed. This is my 5th year working with Kindergartners at
AIS Kuwait and with those precious little ones... Every day is just another fun-filled adventure with lots
of exploration, discoveries and wonders!
As for my educational background, I have graduated from The College of New Jersey specializing in
Elementary Education (K-5). I have then continued my journey in education and gained a Masters
degree in Elementary education from the same college.
I also have a bachelors degree in business administration, so as you can see, it seems I am pretty
obsessed with education and I believe that I can proudly say that I am a life-long learner!
I really wish that the education spark that is burning in me will continue driving me to seek and spread
knowledge and education all over the world everyday and forever!

As for my personal life, I am married. I am a mother for 2 students at AIS: Farah (Gr. 4) and Omar (Gr.1).

So as you can see, I am gladly enjoying being a parent at AIS like the rest of you!
