Examinations consisting of several parts can only be passed if all subjects receive a pass grade.
Final examinations and diploma examinations including more than one subject receive an additional
comprehensive assessment. This can be BESTANDEN (pass) if all parts are positive and NICHT
BESTANDEN ( fail).
The comprehensive assessment will be graded MIT AUSZEICHNUNG BESTANDEN (pass with
distinction), when there are no subjects with a grade inferior than GUT (good) and at least half of the
subjects are SEHR GUT (excellent).
