Preparing For College Entrance
If you are applying to non-competitive schools (Examples: Memphis, MTSU, & U.T.
Chattanooga) where entrance/scholarships are based on GPA & Standardized Test
Scores, you must submit a folder to your counselor with the following items in it:
1. Transcript Release Form (one only)
2. Transcript Request Form (one per school)
Transcript forms can be downloaded from whitestation.net click Guidance click counselor
website click more and go to transcript release/request
You are responsible for sending your standardized test scores.
ACT test scores must be electronically sent through www.actstudent.org
SAT test scores must be electronically sent through www.collegeboard.org
If you are applying to competitive schools (Examples: Harvard, Vanderbilt, Rhodes, &
U.T. Knoxville) where entrance/scholarships-based on GPA, Standardized Test
Scores, Essays, and Letters of Recommendations, you must submit a folder to your
counselor with the following items in it:
1. Spread Sheet with the following columns:
a. Colleges
b. Application Type (Early Decision, Early Action, or Regular Decision)
c. Due Dates
d. Common Application-Yes or No
a. If you have two common application schools, you must use common
