Help fight the scourge of child sex trafficking and other forms of modern day slavery. Join Global
Centurion in our efforts to raise awareness as to the importance of addressing the demand side of
human trafficking. Share your photos and win!

The Global Centurion Photo Competition is open to expert photographers and amateurs who wish to
share their artistic perspectives on the fight against human trafficking. Three prizes will be awarded for
photographs which effectively illustrate the “Demand Side of Human Trafficking.” Photos must be
consistent with a “G” or “PG-13” rating. Winning images will be featured on the Global Centurion
website and publications.

Suggested topics for submissions are:

1. Sex Trafficking;
2. Child Sex Tourism;
3. Labour Exploitation

Deadline
All entries for this year's contest must be received by 5:00 PM EST, Friday, September 10 2010.
The winners of the prizes will be notified by Monday, October 15, 2010.

How to Submit a Photo

Up to ten entries may be submitted per contestant. Entries must be original, unedited, digital images in
.jpg format with a file size no larger than 1 MB. Each entry may not have been previously
commercially published. Entries must be sent via e-mail to globalcenturion@gmail.com, with a subject
reading: "Photo Competition Entry – [surname, given Name]

NO OBSCENE OR LEWD CONTENT. ANY PHOTOS OR IMAGES CONTAINING

OBSCENE OR LEWD CONTENT WILL BE IMMEDIATELY FORWARDED TO THE
US DEPARTMENT OF JUSTICE
Rules, Terms, and Conditions

1. SPONSOR. The photo contest is sponsored and managed by Global Centurion.

2. RULES. The photo contest is governed by these rules, terms, and conditions (the Official
Rules). By participating in the photo contest, you agree to these Official Rules and the decisions
of the judges, which are final and binding. Global Centurion reserves the right to change these
rules or cancel the photo contest at any time, at its sole discretion.
3. PARTICIPATION. Contest participants must be at least 18 years of age at the time of entry.
Entries must be submitted by email to to globalcenturion@gmail.com, with a subject reading:
"Photo Competition Entry – [surname, given Name]. Contestants may submit no more than 10
images. Images must be original, un-retouched digital images in .jpg format with a file size no
larger than 1 MB. Each entry may not have been previously commercially published.
4. SUBMITTED IMAGES. By participating in the photo contest, you expressly agree not to
submit any images that are unlawful, libelous, slanderous, defamatory, or invasive of another
person’s right of privacy or right of publicity. Global Centurion shall not be liable in any way
for such images. Any image that, in the sole discretion of Global Centurion, is considered
inappropriate or unsuitable for publication will be deemed ineligible by Global Centurion.
Global Centurion will not return any submitted images. By participating in the photo contest,
you hereby grant Global Centurion a nonexclusive, non-revocable license to edit, publish, use,
adapt, modify, and license to others any image you submit.
5. YOUR INFORMATION. The information submitted by you during the registration process
includes your name and e-mail address (Personal Information) and will be used by Global
Centurion only in accordance with Global Centurion privacy policy for the purpose of
administrating your participation in the photo contest and for communication about other
Global Centurion events and programs.
6. WINNER SELECTION PROCESS. Photo contest winners will be determined by Global
Centurion staff. The submitted images will be judged to the extent to which they meet the theme
of the photo contest “The Demand Side of Human Trafficking” and show a new perspective on
the goals and objectives of the organization. In addition, entries will be judged on quality of
image and originality.
7. PRIZES. Three (3) winners will be awarded the prizes described below. Taxes, if any, related to
the prizes are the sole responsibility of the winners. Global Centurion may, at its discretion,
revoke the prize if the advertised prize becomes unavailable for any reason. If a participant
changes his/her e-mail address or telephone number after entering into the photo contest, it is
his/her sole responsibility to notify Global Centurion by e-mail to globalcenturion@gmail.com.
The prizes must be picked up at Global Centurion Office located at 1513 Pennsylvania Ave. SE,
Washington, D.C., 20003. If a prize is unclaimed within 60 days of notification, Global
Centurion reserves the right to cancel the prize without notifying the winner.
8. NAMES OF WINNERS. Winners consent that their names may be published on Global
Centurion future Publications.
