All the Music sung and played here is a gift, O God, from you.
For as long as we have prayed here, we've been blessed by music, too.
By your Spirit, each musician finds new depths of faith to share.
Music is a gift you've given and becomes our thankful prayer.
(Carolyn Winfrey Gillette in Songs of Grace)

Cumbayah
This book is an illustrated
version of a popular folksong.
Children of all ages should
enjoy this one, if they like the
song.
Mrs. Babbs
Only You
This story is told by a young
bear to his mother
expressing her importance in
his life. It is a beautiful and
loving story. A good story for
moms or grandmoms to read
to the little ones.

Finance/Administrative/Property Committee
As summer is winding down and fall approaches, it is time to prayerfully engage in one of the fundamental callings
of every Christian, stewardship. Later in the fall, you will have the opportunity to present to God your pledge not
just your financial gift but the gift of your time and talents. For now, lets start with prayer, the type of prayer where
we listen for the voice of God and discern our call to serve God through stewardship.
As far as a year-to-date financial update, our income is currently below budget. We are staying out of trouble because our expenses are likewise below budget. We still owe over $18,000.00 on our new organ.
From the property side, several projects are in process (or have been recently completed) to provide a safer campus
for all of us. Contrasting stripes have been placed on the front steps, a front door security camera will be installed,
repairs are underway to repair a leak in the basement of the Fellowship Hall, and the floor has been leveled at the
piano in the Sanctuary. So dont forget about the building fund in your financial gifts.

Medium size churches have a great advantage when it comes to welcoming people the key is to major
on our strengths. Without the wow factor-of larger churches - our major pull as a medium size church
is relational be personable, friendly, get people connected and theyll stay with us.
More food for thought,
