    Contain a clear and forceful argument/thesis statement
    that will be developed in the essay?
    Explain the contribution to scholarly and/or public
    debate that the essay will make?
    Given examples of the sources and the methods that
    the student will be using?
    Style
    Has the presenter:
    Given a clear, well-paced and engaging presentation
    (e.g. has made use of ppt. slides, images, handouts)
    Responded well to questions from the audience
    Kept to time (minimum of 8 minutes, maximum of 10
    minutes)
