God works through people of faith to perform miracles. When a miracle occurs, the recipient thanks both the person who acted in faith and God, who supplied the power. The book of Hebrews teaches that for God's power to work, someone must walk in faith, as the heroes of faith listed were commended for their faith. So when Jesus or believers perform miracles, it is God acting through them by supplying the power, as Jesus himself acknowledged God was working through him.

performed, the recipient or beneficiary gives thanks to the one who stood in faith and performed the miracle, and also thanks and glory are given to God who supplied the power and actually did the work. The whole lesson of Hebrews 11, which speaks of the heroes of faith, is that almost always someone has to walk in faith for Gods power to work, and the people listed in Hebrews 11 were commended for their faith (v. 39). So when Jesus performed miracles, it was not just he, but God acting also, just as it is when Christian believers do miracles, healings, etc. In fact, Jesus gave credit to God for what he was accomplishing. The words I say to you are not just my own. Rather, it is the Father, living in me, who is doing his work (John 14:10b).
