What occurs during stage 6?

this usually occurs during the ages of 18-30


an individual triesto have somedegree of intimacy rather than
being isolate
intimacymeans to be able to be close toothers.
you can be intimate as alover, friend,or people in your society
the oppostie of being intimate isto isloate yourself from love,
friendships, andyour community
one develops hatred to achieve isolation
this mostlyeffects thepartners and friends

CAUSE:

having fear of
commitment
tendancy to become
intimate too easliy
and freely
moving around a lot
as a child

EFFECT:(on personality)

being promiscuious
not being able to
sustain a long-lasting
relationship
(shallow v. deep)

Examples of being promiscuious:

always in search of a new partner

long lasting friends
Begin to fall in love
This impacts their "later in life"
