Project Handout
Project Handout
You will have one project to do this semester, either this quarter or next,
depending on when you sign up.
The project is presenting an important person (or idea) of the time period
to the class. You will need
To have a visual aid (prezi, PPT, poster, or handout) with at least 5
detailed* slides.
o Give biographical information from the first person and show
their (your) life through photos
o Give list of work produced throughout their (your) lifetime
o Show other notable contributions AND give proof (example) of
the work produced/contributions (sound file, video, etc.)
o Demonstrate why this person is remembered today
To dress up like your person (or idea)
o Dress appropriate to your person (you) and the era
o When applicable, style yourself according to your person (which
is you)
To clearly present on the date assigned
*detailed would indicate that, its not a copy/paste affair and that there is
sufficient information. If you are unsure, its probably not detailed enough.

1. Decide when you would like to present. (It will be a Friday) Keep in
mind, no more than 3 presentations on a given day.
2. Choose your important person from the decade we will be studying at
that time.
3. Begin your plan for research. When will you do it? Do you need a
Dawgs Time pass to a lab?
4. Once you start your research, determine how you can dress up as
your person.
