negative flexure. The section is a W30x99 and supports an 8 concrete slab. The
dimensions are as shown. Use Fy = 50ksi and fc = 4ksi. Assume full composite action.
The grade 60 reinforcement in the slab is made up of #4 bars, with a clear cover of
17/8.
