RVS COLLEGE OF ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY, COIMBATORE

We would like to bring a few points for your information with regard to the functioning of the
college and the unwanted, undesirable and deplorable attitude of your ward.
We started the college on July 15th, 2015 and we have been sincerely and wholeheartedly carrying
out the academic activities having started the classes with all seriousness and everything went smoothly
till this morning. We have got a good hostel. The hostel is under the vigilant supervision of the chief
warden, Our Principal, also there is one warden assisted by three deputy wardens staying all the 24 hours
in the hostel.
All the wardens and deputy wardens are meeting the inmates of the hostel looking after their
needs and taking the remedial actions then and there. The Principal also is meeting the hostellers daily in
groups to know if there is any inconvenience or not and rectified them then and there.
In our college an effective tutor ward system works successfully, each professor looking after 15
students and all the tutors are meeting their wards daily without fail.
TILL DATE NO COMPLAINT HAS BEEN BROUGHT
EITHER DURING THE TUTOR WARD MEET OR DURING THE REGULAR CLASSES
Now today including your ward most of the students went on an unauthorized strike without the
notice to higher authorities and tried to block the traffic in the national highway. On a thorough enquiry it
has been found out that only a few students have instigated the strike and your ward has fallen prey for it.
The main reason for the strike is not the quality of the food or anything else but they wanted to
avoid Anna University internal examination starting from Monday the 7 th September 2015 and go home.
Already we have given onam leave for 3 days from 28 th to 30th of August 2015. Needless to say, if
this trend extends, it will affect the future of the students and the whole time, energy and the amount spent
on education will be a total waste.
Also your ward cannot complete the degree and therefore cannot pocket a decent job, if the same
trend continues.
Now the college is functioning for
1. All the senior classes
2. All the 1st yr day scholars &
3. All the girls both day scholars & hostellers
Now we request that necessary advice may be given to your ward and send him/her to the college
without fail on Monday 7th September 2015 to appear for the already scheduled Anna University Internal
examination starting from that day.
Please help us to help you by sending your ward to the college with a proper advice.
