the exam weekend

When: Saturday13 and Sunday 14 March 2010


Where: Beacon Hill School, Beacon Hill Road, HINDHEAD GU26 6NR

You will have received confirmation of your exam time. If you haven’t, you should contact us immediately.

You must arrive at least 30 minutes before your exam time below. Late arrivals will not be allowed to
take their exam. If you do not attend, you will be liable for the other group member’s entry fees.

how long will it take ..?


You can find out how long it will take by checking the appointment slip that you have been given.
Occasionally exams run a little late. You will be advised if they are when you arrive.
Parents must stay at the venue while the exam is taking place - there will be a waiting room with tea, coffee
and the morning’s newspapers.

what am I going to wear ..?


You must wear your MIM hoodie which must fit. T-shirts are not allowed. You must also wear smart
trousers or jeans (no skirts) and suitable shoes. Loose fitting shoes like Crocs or Ugg Boots are not suitable. If
you have long hair you must also make sure that it is clipped or tied back so that it does not cover your face.

The grade you get in the exam isn’t important. It is important that you have done your best, and that’s all
that we ask.
Make sure you know exactly what you are going to do in your scene and what everyone else will do. Don’t add
anything extra on the day- stick with what you have practised and agreed. If you are doing a scripted scene please
make sure that you know your lines accurately.
Make sure you know what things you need to bring with you.
Remember, enjoy the exam. The examiner is only there to see how you’ve done and give you some ideas on how
you can improve things in your scene. They won’t be cross with you if you make a mistake.
