Among the many ways that sustainability has been defined, the simplest and

most fundamental is: "the ability to sustain" or, put another way, "the capacity to
endure. Sustainability is based on a simple principle: Everything that we need for
our survival and well-being depends, either directly or indirectly, on our natural
environment. Sustainability creates and maintains the conditions under which
humans and nature can exist in productive harmony, that permit fulfilling the
social, economic and other requirements of present and future generations. While
sustainability is about the future of our society, for today's industries and
businesses, it is also about commercial success. The mandate to transform
businesses to respect environmental limits while fulfilling social wants and needs
has become an unparalleled platform for innovation on strategy, design,
manufacturing and brand, offering massive opportunities to compete and to
adapt to a rapidly evolving world.
I am an active member of Fedration of Mbano Students in my School, also an
Executive member [Secretary General] of the Nigerian Society of Chemical
Engineer's MOUAU Student's Chapter. I am a social and strong educationist who
loves knowledge, and aids others through organization of tutorial and scholarship
updates to enlighten my co-students.

I believe that this is going to help bring out the best in me. it will give me the
opportunity to try and do things that I would not imagined in could do, to face
new challenges, to take responsibilities and most importantly to develop me both
educationally, socially and about human interaction.
