Pneumonia in Children

What is Pneumonia?
Pneumonia is an
inflammatory condition
of the lung affecting
primarily the
microscopic air sacs
known as alveoli.

The cause of Pneumonia

Pneumonia is usually
caused by infection with
viruses or bacteria and less
commonly other
microorganisms, certain
drugs and other conditions
such as autoimmune
diseases.

The symptoms
1. Cough

2. Chest pain and dyspnea

3. Fever

The Prevention
1. Give the baby
ASI for six
months.

2. Give vaccine suggested

by doctor in one year
first birth

3. Accustom children to
live as healthy as
washing hands before
eating.

4. Keep the child from

cigarette smoke.
