    Remove top clips gently with


    screwdriver.

    Same for bottom clips.

    STEP 5.

    STEP 6.

    Heat evenly all around with heat gun.

    Pry apart with a screwdriver.

    STEP 7.

    STEP 8.

    Ditto...

    Voila, headlights with no lenses.

    Set glass aside.

    Your good friend masking tape.

    STEP 11.

    STEP 12.

    Mask away my friend...

    Final masked product, I also taped


    off the seal so I could reuse the
    existing silicone.

    STEP 13.

    Find a clean dry place to paint.

    Clean all areas to be painted with


    rubbing alcohol.

    STEP 15.

    Pick your weapon of choice, I choose


    high temp engine enamel, in dark
    matte grey (just to be different).

    Paint away, many light coats.

    STEP 17.

    STEP 18.

    Remove masking...

    Unmasked product.

    STEP 19.

    STEP 20.

    Reheat silicone seal.

    Re-attach glass, and voila finished


    product.
