1. Gathering a large amount of information in a very brief amount of time? The type/s of interviews that would yield the most data for the survey would be through telephone and internet. These two methods are considered the quickest, because they are able to directly relay the results and can gather relatively large amounts of information in a short period of time. 2. Asking questions about a sensitive topic? The best method to use in order to collect sensitive data information is by using a Mail Questionnaire. The reason this is the best choice is because it offers a level of Confidentiality as well as a means of anonymity, the results are not to revealed to anyone outside the project and uses codes and names for identification. 3. Understanding the opinions of senior citizens on the issue of health care? A Personal Interview would be the best course of action in this situation to gather information from a senior citizen. More specifically, an unstructured interview type of personal interview because it is more like a conversation that you are having with the interviewee and it will make them feel more at ease. This will more than likely yield more results to your line of questioning than a structured one, or probing the person and making them feel pressured. 4. Learning about the day in the life of an athlete training for the Olympics? Again the best interview type would be a Personal Interview for this subject, it is more personal and you will be able to be more direct in your line of questioning. Also if you have to probe the person about certain topics pertaining to the interview it can be done. This type can also be structured or unstructured depending on the type of information you are trying to gather out of the interview.
