**Solve the following problems:


1- Solve problem 2.2 from the book.
2- Solve problem 2.4 from the book.
3- An open tank, with peizometers attached on the sides, containing two different
immiscible liquids as shown in the figure. What is the elevation of the liquid
surface in peizometer A and in the peizometer B, and the total pressure at the
bottom of the tank?

4- For the configuration shown in the figure, what must be the value of the
specific weight of the unknown fluid?

5- For the figure shown, calculate the pressure at point A.

6- for the figure shown, what is the pressure difference between A&B?

7- for the inclined-tube manometer shown in the figure, the pressure in pipe A is
0.6 psi. The fluid in both pipes A &B is water and the fluid in the manometer
has a specific gravity of 2.6, and is inclined 30 to horizontal What is the
pressure in pipe B?

8- Solve problem 2.18 from the book.
