A better quality of education, working opportunity, and life assurance

offered in big cities caused many youth decided to leave their hometown to pursue
those dreams in other cities. This is a new problem raises in the environment of
GKT synod, where the synod has problems in reconnecting with the youth who
have moved from their hometown. Therefore, a web-based informastion system
that can be utilized to overcome this problem is created.
This website is adopting the features that exist in a social network site,
where this features can be utilized as a means of communication. Some features
will be modified so that it can assist in providing more accurate information
which has been a lack in general social network sites. Modification of these
features are also done in order assist in organizing the existing youth community.
This website will be developed using ASP.NET, with VB.NET as front-end
and uses SQL Server database to save data as back-end. The website uses
ASP.NET AJAX framework to increase website performance that consist of script
client library and integrated server component. ASP.NET AJAX also supported
with ASP.NET AJAX Control Toolkit.
