New features for version 6

Thumbnail view from which you can delete and re-arrange pages.
Optical Character Recognition (OCR) for converting scanned documents into
editable PDFs. See Inserting pages from a scanner on page 139.
Support for filling-in interactive forms plus saving, loading and printing.
Redactions can be in various colours and have labels applied. They are now also
automatically applied throughout all bookmarks, comments and any other hidden
meta-data. See Redacting text on page 69.
Floating Transform palette for making position, size, scale and rotation changes to
selected objects. Object->Transform Selection...
New translations tools for quick translation of specific parts of a document, rather
than entire stories or pages.
Image re-sampling, automated cropping and grey-scale conversion to reduce PDF
file size. See Re-sampling Images on page 60.

View, Comment

& Edit modes to safeguard against accidental modification of

documents. See Work Mode on page 36.

Importing PNG images now supports images with transparency.

Bookmarks are now also merged when documents are merged.
Initial view of a PDF when it opens in any PDF reader can be set by choosing
File->Preferences->Loading

Font, text-size and colour are retained when pasting text from another application
into Infix.
Find & Replace in bookmarks. See Find & Replace (advanced) on page 117.
Extract pages dialogue can now extract each page in a range to a separate file.
Document->Pages->Extract...

Support for TrueType Font Collections in the system fonts menu.

Facility to attach the current PDF to an email : File->Attach to email...
User-define stamp annotations. See User-define stamps on page 162.
Multiple user defined signatures - define any number of signatures for use when
stamping scanned, hand-written signatures onto a documents. See Adding a

Comments and sticky notes can now be manipulated with the object tool, not just
