Aaj Tak CARE awards honor Amway India

for its Philanthropic Work in the Education

New Delhi, June 6, 2012:

Amway India, the leading direct-selling FMCG company, today received the prestigious Aaj Tak
CARE Award for exceptional philanthropic work in the education field. Mr.Randeep Singh
Sisodia, Director - Human Resources, Amway India received the award on behalf of Amway
India at an award ceremony held at New Delhi.

The chief guest of the program was Shri Pranab Mukherjee, Honble Union Minister of Finance,
Government of India. Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar who launched the Aaj Tak Care Awards
anthem was also present at the awards ceremony.

The award recognized Amways efforts and commitment towards the less privileged section of
the society by providing them support for education and health thereby helping them attain
economic independence.

The awards were presented in five categories Education, Healthcare, Livelihood, Environment
& Empowerment. The jury members for the awards included Mr. Gurcharan Das - Chairman,
Author and Management Consultant; Prof. Dipankar Gupta, Noted Sociologist; Mr. Arun Kapur,
Executive Director, Learn Today; Dr. Sandeep Pandey, Social Activist (NAPM); Mr. Rajender
Singh, Environmentalist & Chairman, Tarun Bharat Sangh; Dr. Ashok Seth, Chairman
Cardiovascular Sciences / Cardiology Council, Fortis Group of Hospitals and Mr. Sandeep
Chachra, Social Anthropologist.

On the occasion Mr. Sisodia stated, "This award reiterates our dedication to make a positive
difference in the society by integrating social concerns into our everyday business operations.
Receiving an award for philanthropic work is very encouraging for us, as we set our sight on
further improving our efforts in the future."

Amway India implements its CSR activities through its dedicated corporate social responsibility
arm called Amway Opportunity Foundation (AOF), also a registered non-profit organization.
Under AOF, Amway runs two national level projects National Project for the Blind and
National Project for Children (Project Sunrise).

Aaj Tak Care Awards, an initiative of Aaj Tak, the leading Hindi News Channel, have been
instituted to honour corporate entities who have contributed towards inclusive and sustainable
development keeping in mind the society as the focal point.
