Check In at The Hotel Hershey

North American Presidents Organization
attendees will be welcomed by champagne
when they first arrive at
The Hotel Hershey
lobby and will then be directed to the front
desk to check in. Their welcome packet
expressing the vintage theme for the weeks
activities as well as their event agenda, floor
plans and directions, information on the sites
they will be visiting, and contact information
of NAPO associates will be waiting for them in their room.

Reception
The welcome reception and dinner will
be a vintage cocktail event held in
The
Circular
. This room will be held as a
private party for the evening. Guests will
be offered the option of either a Peach
Bellini or a Rusty Nail as their vintage
drinks for the night. They will be offered
two drinks tickets, but as the night goes
on, they have the option to enjoy other
beverages at the bar at their own
expense.
- Peach Bellini: Prosecco, Lemon Juice, Fresh Peaches
- Rusty Nail: Scotch, Drambuie, Lemon Twist

Dinner
To continue with our vintage theme, for dinner we will
serve Chicken-Squash Fricassee. It is a classic recipe from
Betty's '70s-era recipe card files, this skillet supper makes
delicious use of summer squash,
fresh green beans and a whole
chicken. For our vegetarian
option we will be serving
Lasagna Florentine
. It is
spinach lasagna; a classic vegetarian dish made with a
creamy white sauce, cheese, and vegetables.

Entertainment
The Boilermaker Jazz Band will be performing
during the event this evening. They are an
ecstatically fun band performing authentic hot
jazz, ragtime, and swing. The group has a wide
repertoire that will make an audience swing
dance to a classic jazz standard, get sentimental
over an old-time ballad, boogie to a hot jump
tune, or get down-low with gritty blues. From
concert halls to dances, festivals to family parties,
listeners and dancers agree - with their infectious
beat and enthusiasm, this band can make any
crowd move.

Guest Speakers: Chris and John Trogner

Chris and John Trogner (owners of
Tregs Brewing Company
) have been
working hard to get Central Pennsylvania on the brewing map since 1997. In
1997 these Mechanicsburg natives began handcrafting world-class beers that
combine traditional English brewing techniques with the eclecticism of new
American brewing. The way the Trogner brothers reached this point is as
compelling as where they are headed. The Trogners
would love to share their story with the North
American Presidents Organization. Today, the
brewery produces six year-round, and five seasonal
beers, including: HopBack Amber Ale, Troegenator
Doublebock, DreamWeaver Wheat, Perpetual IPA,
JavaHead Stout, Tregs Pale Ale, Nugget Nectar, Dead
Reckoning Porter, Sunshine Pils, The Mad Elf, and
Flying Mouflan. Tregs currently distributes its
product in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, New York,
Washington D.C., Maryland, Delaware, Ohio, Massachusetts, and Virginia.

Their appearance at the North American Presidents Organization will promote

entrepreneurship as well as leadership and management skills. All attendees
will be able to benefit from these skills and take them back to implement
within their individual organizations.
Spouse/Partner Activity #1
Melt into the ultimate luxury at the decadent
Spa At The Hotel Hershey
, affectionately known
as
The Chocolate Spa.
An elegant haven with the
unmistakable touch of Hershey, The Spa offers a
variety of traditional massages, hydrotherapy,
facials, and more all wrapped in a warm,
luxurious tradition inspired by Milton S.
Hershey and his wife, Catherine. It's the
perfect retreat to pamper yourself or
reconnect with friends. The Spouse/Partner
morning at
The Spa At The Hotel Hershey
will
provide a relaxing morning and also include
delectable refreshments.
Team Building Activity
Buzz on over in the afternoon to meet the bees of Hershey. Within the
beekeeping community, there are roughly 12,000-15,000 Italian honeybees, all
of which live in three hives at a remote location on the property. Similar to
several other Hershey sustainable projects, this
initiative was introduced by the Executive Head
Chef with three goals in mind:
Add to decreasing honeybee population
Help pollinate local plants
Harvest honey
Each year two to three frames of honey (roughly
6-8 pounds per frame) are harvested. The honey
that is harvested is used in specialty meals
throughout the entire property. However, the
main purpose of the initiative is a response to
severe declines in the Italian honeybee
population. Hershey is working to save the Italian honeybee population and
harvest honey locally, on their property.

Spouse/Partner Activity #2
At the Chocolate Martini Mixology Lab, attendees will
learn how to create the
Hershey Lodge
Chocolate
Martini, Chocolate Crme Brulee Martini, White
Chocolate Martini, Mocha Martini, and much more! The
Chocolate Martini Mixology Lab will be a wonderful
environment for the spouses and partners to relax and
enjoy their afternoon!
Reception
For Tuesday nights reception, guests will enjoy
themselves in a Columbian Exposition-inspired
Grand Lobby at
The Hershey Story Museum
.
The
Hershey Story Museum
is a warm and
welcoming attraction that immerses its visitors
in a tale spanning more than 150 years of the
exciting life events of Milton Hershey.
Guests will be delighted by the specialty
themed hors doeuvres menu which
includes Soft-Whipped Yoak, Deviled Eggs,
Wild Salmon and Cucumber, Goat Cheese &
Fig Crostini, and Bacon Wrapped Shrimp;
exquisite and refined classic American dishes,
influenced by French cuisine.
Entertainment
Throughout the evening, guests will be entertained by the
talented Frank Sinatra singer, Sean Reilly. Sean Reilly is
the 2009 Hoboken, New Jersey Frank Sinatra Idol Contest
winner. He will be performing with a band to bring his
talents to life and providing the guests with a true,
Sinatra-like experience.
