Mad City

Max Brackett was a journalist who lived in Madeline, California, a small and
quiet town where nothing happened. It wasnt a good place to do journalism.
But one day, his boss, Lou Potts ordered him to go to the Museum of Natural
History because it had financial problems. So, Max decided to do an interview
with Jill Banks, the museum curator. A group of children was there with their
teacher. When Max was leaving the bathroom, he saw a man with a bag and
pulling out a rifle. He was Sam Baily, an employee of the museum who was
fired because of the budget cuts. He wanted to get his job back because he had
to support a family. Max started to transmit a breaking news in the mens
toilet, but Sam noticed that someone was telling what was happening and he
discovered him. Then, all the police and the news channels were outside the
museum. Cliff Williams, who was the guard of the museum, was injured
because Sam shot anywhere to frighten the museum curator. After giving an
interview to the audience, he let out the children. Finally, he decided to blow up
the bombs he had and he died.
Bridget Jones Diary.
Bridget was a woman in her thirties who worked at a publishing company, lived
alone, and she intended some goals: lose weight, give up smoking, dont drink
alcohol, be charming and get a boyfriend.
At first, she fell in love with her boss, Daniel Clever but she ends the
relationship with Daniel because he was with another woman. Her parents were
separating. On New Year's party, she met Mark Darcy, a divorced lawyer but
Bridget despises him. Daniel explains to Bridget that Mark had stolen his
girlfriend when they were in college. She changed her job to be a reporter.
Mark appeared again and got an interview with a politician and becomes the
star reporter of the channel. About to go to Paris with his friends, Mark
appeared again at home, but when he read, Bridgets diary, she learned that
she hated and disliked. Mark rushed out to buy a new diary, but Bridget
catches up and apologizes, kissing in the middle of the street.
Project
We interviewed to Andrea Venturini, who is a journalist that studied in Buenos
Aires, she worked in Clarn and did radio with Cristian Bello, and now she is
doing Entrevistas, on Canal 11. She said that she loves working on the media
and she told us that since she was young she wanted to work in journalism.
