    September 16, 2015

    Overland Park Police Investigating an Armed Disturbance


    On 09/16/15, at about 1:22am, Overland Park Police officers were dispatched to an armed
    disturbance outside an alcohol establishment in the 7100 block of W 75th St. Officers arriving on
    scene discovered a deceased male in the parking lot.
    The identity of the victim is known but will not be released pending notification of next of kin.
    The suspect has not been identified but was described by witnesses as an African American male in
    his 20s, approximately 6 foot tall and heavy set. He was last seen wearing a blue shirt and left in
    a large red truck.
    Officers are still on scene investigating. There is no further information at this time.
