The Riverside Police Department is proud to announce that Mothers
Against Drunk Driving (MADD), Northeast Illinois Region, has selected Officer Brian Greenenwald to receive a special award for drunk driving enforcement. MADDs Northeast Illinois Law Enforcement Nomination Committee stated, This special Heroes award is in statewide recognition of the significant contributions Officer Greenenwald has made to the fight against drunk driving. Chief Tom Weitzel stated, I am extremely proud of the hard work and dedication that Officer Brian Greenenwald has demonstrated in enforcing Illinois drunk driving statue. I know Brian has made a difference! The presentation was held in Springfield, Illinois on Saturday, September 11, 2015.
