The first part of this experiment involved varying the rater angle when fabricating

the test specimens The 4 test specimens were printed with a rater angle of 0, 15,
30 and 45. Subsequently, the parts were subject to a tensile test.

Our calculated Youngs Modulus was found to be on the order of 0.2 MPa with a max
of 0.24 MPa and a min of 0.18. This is smaller than 4 orders of magnitude less than
the value of PLA found in literature which is 3,500 MPa. The manufacturing process
clearly has a significant impact on the strength of the final parts produced.
