1ST STEP

CAUTION: 1-2 marks on the clipboard

Warning about 3rd mark

2ND STEP

STOP: 3 marks
Rethinking Time
Send home Rethinking Letter to parents to be signed and returned
Teacher complete FYI form (After 3 FYIs, refer to counselor)

3RD STEP

TIME-OUT: 4 marks
Call office for Counselor/Designee
Possible break in another class
Phone call to parents by classroom teacher

4TH STEP OR SEVERE DISRUPTION:

Call office for Principal or Counselor
Detained in office
Complete Character Violation
Parent Contact by Administrator

POSITIVE REINFORCEMENT: varies by classroom
