In this field experience I observed a middle

school math classroom. I was able to notice
methods being used and also an area of study I
am interested in.

In this field experience I was able to teach a

reading lesson to an entire class and also a mini
reading lesson. I was in a 3rd grade classroom at
Brookings.
In this field experience I was able to go to an
elementary school and assess a 6th grade girl on
her reading level. I was placed at a rural school.
The testing system I used was a running record.
I assessed her at the beginning and then had
conferences and then again assessed her at the
end to see if she had improvement.
