Requirements for everyone else for a tourist or business Schengen visa (over 18 only):

1) Passport, must have 2 blank visa pages with the mention visa to affix the visa sticker
and must be issued less than 10 years ago, and a UK visa. Both passport and UK visa must
be valid for 3 months longer than the requested visa, Embassy never makes exceptions to
this rule.
If your UK visa is stamped in the old passport please provide both old and new passports - no
need to transfer a stamp into a new passport.
If you have Schengen visas in the old passport(s) then please add old passport(s).
2) One passport-size photo: in colour, with a light background, 45 x 35 mm, no headwear /
glasses.Must be less then 1 month old. Do not attach photo to application form.

through the German Visa centre's website. You will be required to sign on page number 4, 5
and 6. Duration of a visa and number of entries is decided by the Embassy only and can
be different from what you asked on the form.
Please do not use the visa centre's website to book an appointment after completing the form
as we will arrange for an appointment ourselves.
4) Return Confirmed tickets - Tickets must state the names of all applicants who are
travelling. If you are driving please contact us, documents are different. (Flight, Train, Coach
or Ferry)
5) Hotel booking.
If you will be staying with a friend or family, please contact us, as there are separate
requirements.
7)Travel Insurance: stating area and expenses covered. For an instant online quote and

Travel Insurance on the left menu.
If you are going skiing - travel insurance must state cover of Winter Sports.
If insurance provided with your bank account - original letter from your bank confirming
it. Letter on headed paper, dated no older than 1 month.
8) 3 months bank statements, ending within last1 month, with your name; in credit, with
50 per day of stay. Cash deposits and credit cards are not accepted. Printouts from internet
banking are OK.

If the last statement is older than 1 month please provide it plusa print-out with up-to-date
balance with the same account number. This can be obtained instantly at the bank or
from the internet banking.
9) If you cannot provide a bank statement - EURO travelers cheques of 60 per day of
your trip.
If Supported financially by another person please contact us and we can provide details of
documents required.
10) For employed: Letter from Employer which must be: no older than 3 months, on
ORIGINAL companys headed paper; stating companys registration or VAT number, your
name, position, how much you earn, when you started work.
If your nationality is on the list above, where it takes 3 weeks to process application, this
letter should also state your dates of travel.
11) For supported by a spouse: letter of support from the spouse stating who is paying for
the trip; original spouses passport and original marriage certificate, spouse's employment
letter or 3 payslips (as p.10), spouse's bank statement (as p.8).
Documents not in English/German have to be translated and translation should be certified
from the respective consulate in London to legalise the document.
13) For self-employed: Letter (no older than 3 months) from an accountant or a solicitor.
14) For students: Letter from your College/University confirming attendance. Letter must
be:no older than 1 months; on headed paper; stating name and dates of your course,
confirming attendance. If your nationality is on the list above, where it takes 3 weeks to
process application, this letter should also state your dates of travel.
15) If your UK visa is dependent (Tier 1 Dependant etc): original passport of the person
your UK visa depends on plus original proof of relationship (marriage/birth certificate etc).
This is required even if you have your own job and/or do not depend financially (your UK
visa depends). Please read requirements to the foreign marriage certificates in p.12 above.

Emirates (UAE), Uzbekistan, Vietnam and Yemen
17) Power of attorney form (for all nationals), Download Here. This form is required for
us to submit the application on your behalf.
16) Payment by cash, cheque to Multi Travel Visas Ltd, bank transfer. You can also pay by
debit/credit card on our website, in such case a 5% surcharge applies (only to card payments):

17) Pre-paid Special Delivery envelope from any Post Office (to return your passport) or add
20.00.
18) Please bring your documents to our office or post by Special Delivery: Multi Travel
Visas, 68 King William Street, City of London, London, EC4N 7DZ.
Nearest stations: Monument, Bank, also close to Liverpool Street and London Bridge.
