Addendum to Questions Regarding the Leyva Claim to Pechanga Lineal Descent The purpose of this addendum is to fully explain and expound upon the previously submitted Facts Pertaining to Disenrollment of the Frances Leva Descendents. ‘+ The Masiel and Basques families claim their Pechanga lineal descent through the Garcia line. The evidence below indicates that the Masiel and Basquez families are not related to the Garcia’s and thus have no legitimate lineal descent to the original Pechanga people. + The Masiel and Basques families specifically claim that Fransisca Leyva is the child of Josepha Garcia (Gonzales), a Pechanga Indian. The evidence shows that Fransisca Leyva is not the daughter of Josepha Garcia and thus she and her heirs have no valid claim to the Garcia lineal line. Juan Gareia (Pechanga Indian) had two children. Eduardo Garcia (Pechanga Indian) & Josepha Garcia (Pechanga Indian) 4 Josepha Garcia had six children with Felipe Attache (Cascara) (Pechanga Indian) before 1902. 4 Antonio Garcia, Eduardo Gareia, Senovia Garcia, ‘Omeceindo Cascara, Reginaldo Cascara and Maria jo. Cascara, ‘The Basquez/Masiel families also claim to be the descendents of Josepha Garcia through her “daughter” Francisca Leyva. Francisca Leyva was born in 1898. At no time between [898 and 1902 is Josepha Garcia found on the Pechanga census as having a daughter named Fransisca. Fransisca Leyva had six children with Arthur Basquez (not Pechanga Indian). Ruth Garcia (adopted), Raymond Basquez, Art Basquez, Irene Basquez, Amelia Basquez, Toni Basquez.
