PEOPLE CARES MORE ABOUT SPACE WEATHER, IT IS IMPORTANT
SINCE IT MIGHT BE A THREAT TO EARTH IF A CME OR A SOLAR FLARE
OCCUR.

Current Condition
Now, people seem to care less about space weather and space weather
reports are not even made public enough for more people to see.

Purpose of Project
TO RAISE AWARENESS ABOUT HOW A PHENOMENA LIKE CME CAN
AFFECT EARTH AND ITS TECHNOLOGY

Benefits of project
1. People will be prepared when a CME is going on Earths
direction.
2. As a group, we could learn more about Coronal Mass
Ejection.

Theories

CME (CORONAL MASS

EJECTION)

Plasma, X radiation rays, Gamma, protons and electorns which is threaded by

magnetic field that is ejected from the sun.

CAUSES OF CME
It is called a magnetic reconnection where highly fluctuating magnetic fields
collapse to a lower energy structure and is ejected through a magnetic
shockwave.

If there is a CME coming our way, turn-off the main breaker at your
electrical distribution panel a few hours hours before CME makes contact to
Earth.

Relation to BIG QUESTION

Based on our phenomena: Our phenomena (CME) can cause a structural change
by hitting the magnetic field of the Earth and then damaging Earth
technology, when events like these happen it is related to aurora as well.
