DESCRIPTION & APPLICATION

OK TIGROD S2 are copper coated rod for TIG welding process using Argon and is
specially suitable for welding of light gauge mild steel in all position and for a variety
of applications, including root run for pipes & tubes etc.

DESCRIPTION & APPLICATION

OK TIGROD S2 (Spl) are copper coated rod for TIG welding containing medium
manganese and silicon to optimise strength and impact toughness at sub-zero
temperatures of -51C. OK TIGROD S2 (Spl) is designed for the welding structural
steels, pressure vessels and boilers involving unalloyed and micro alloyed structural
steels. Also recommended for rootruns of pipes and tubes of ASTM A106-B steel
used for offshore application. Passes corrosion test as per NACETM-02-84 and HIC
test as per NACE-TM-01-77 specification.
