TRANSFERING SYSTEM
SYNOPSIS;
Objective
To transfer the material from the starting point to the particular
distance automatically in vertical or horizontal direction.
To develop industrial automation and assist with CIM environment.
To promote the unmanned industry.
Project Background
In the present global rationalization and competitive world most of the
industries set up unmanned industry in order to eliminate labor cost and to
increase productivity.

Mechatronics in developing this project work..

In this project the jobs are

transferred on a platform either in vertical or horizontal direction using four


Pneumatic cylinders.. These double acting cylinders are actuated through the 5/2
way solenoid operated directional control valves.
These valves are controlled by a microcontroller based controller system. A
stepper motor is also used for rotational movement . Here three cylinders are

used for X , Y, and Z movements and the fourth cylinder is used as gripper for
gripping the object.
