Agendas were issued last week and are expected to bring to class every day. Students are to write down their
homework assignments in the agenda as part of our class daily routines. Please check with your cadet to verify
that they received their agendas as this is also another form of communication that we will utilize to keep you
update as to what is going on in our class.

Our secondary cadets are ready for Constitution Day and are looking forward to
sharing with our elementary cadets during this dedicated to celebrating such an
important day in the history of our country.

This week concludes are study of the Constitution just in time for Constitution Day! Please remind your child
to complete all assignments and to turn in homework that is completed in its entirety. Our quiz grades for last
were not the best but I expect improvement in the days to come.

We continued our study of European Exploration in the Americas. We also discussed societies in
Africa, the Americas and in Europe and how they were similarities and differences. Our first test
is scheduled for this week and I am expecting great results.

Middle Eat History


This week we began course work related to stereotypes of the Middle East. We also talked about
perceptions and misperceptions in the Middle East. Students were encouraged to give opinions as
to why we should study the region of the Middle east and North Africa.
