The Lower East Side Ecology Center is hosting a free e-waste recycling event on Sunday, October 11th from 10am to 4pm at 134-01 20th Avenue in College Point. They will accept all working and non-working electronics like computers, printers, TVs, and cell phones. E-waste recycling is now required by law in New York since January 1st, 2015. Those unable to attend the event can drop off e-waste Tuesday through Saturday at their warehouse in Brooklyn.
