The Lower East Side Ecology Center is holding a free e-waste recycling event on Saturday, October 3rd from 10am to 4pm at Tekserve located at 119 W 23rd Street in Chelsea. Electronic items such as computers, monitors, printers, TVs, and cell phones will be accepted for recycling, which is now required by law in New York State. The event will take place rain or shine, and e-waste can also be dropped off at the Gowanus eWaste Warehouse on Tuesdays through Saturdays if the event date does not work.
