The Lower East Side Ecology Center is hosting a free e-waste recycling event on September 12th from 9am to 1pm at the Breezy Point Activity Center. Electronics recycling is now required by law in New York. Items that will be accepted include computers, monitors, printers, scanners, keyboards, mice, cables, TVs, VCRs, DVD players, phones, audio/visual equipment, and cell phones. Those who cannot make the event can drop off e-waste any Tuesday through Saturday at the Gowanus eWaste Warehouse.
