Read Across America

has been celebrated for
the past 18 years
nationwide.

This is the second year that

the Camas High School Reading
Club and the Camas Junior High
School Reading Club will performed Dr. Seuss plays for the
Camas Elementary School students, parents and community.
This year Drew Hallowell
and Nikki Kepford will be dressed
as the Cat in the Hat and they will
be narrators for Green Eggs and

Ham which will be performed by

the high school students.

Theodore Seuss Geisel

was born March 2, 1904
so we are celebrating his
111 birthday!

Throughout his career, cartoonist and writer Dr. Seuss

published 60 children's
books, including
The Cat in the Hat and
Green Eggs and Ham

Nicole Stempke will be the

narrator for the junior high play
which will be The Foot Book
this year. Elementary children will
receive Dr. Seuss bookmarks and
Dr. Seuss puzzles. Come and join
us and have a Seussational Time!

CCHS Reading Club Schwans Cares Fundraiser

We are raising funds to purchase new books for our school
library K-12 which has a very out
of date collection. Some funds
would be used to promote reading
incentive programs throughout our
school district. Also, some of
the funds would be for a graduating
reading club senior scholarship.

March 17th, 2015, 20% of prod-

uct & 40% of e Gift Card sales

will go back to the HS Reading
Club. In addition, Schwans will
contribute 5% of all orders to our
club for the rest of the year.
