My name is Ashley LeGrand. I am a student at Regent
University, and I will be graduating in December with a Bachelors Degree in Interdisciplinary Studies. In the Interdisciplinary Studies program, our final semester is spent in an assigned classroom as a Student-Teacher. I have been assigned to Miss. Strangwayss fifth grade class. I will be in your childs classroom September 8th through October 16th. Under Miss Strangwayss supervision, I will gradually obtain the profession of teaching which includes: planning lessons, instructing the students in whole group and small group, managing activities, and other daily routines. Please know that your child will continue to receive the quality education you foresee. As I plan and carry out lessons in the classroom, I will be following the VDOE curriculum and standards as well as using the approved materials. Miss Strangways will be supervising me at all times. Just a little about me: I am married and have a beautiful 18-month-old daughter. Becoming a teacher has always been a dream. I love to read, learn, and help students expand their minds through growth. I am really excited to work with your child, and I hope to get to know you and your child as we work together. Please feel free to contact me at (ashlleg@mail.regent.edu) or Miss Strangways.
